NICKEL SPECIAL Beer and a Shot $5!
A family tradition
My grandfather, John E. Dickens Sr., purchased this building in 1949 to support his family through John E. Dickens & Sons Barber Shop. My grandmother, Dorothy, also had a cafe on the corner. My Parents, Morris Sr. and Mary Hollinshed operated a neighborhood pub in the building. Over the years, several family members have operated businesses, as well.

It is with gratitude and humility that I am pleased to open a community coffee shop and jazz parlor in December 2018.

The Covid pandemic was hard on all of us and we had to put the safety of our customers and community first. Unfortunately, we had to close the doors for a season, BUT WE ARE BACK AND BETTER THAN BEFORE!
